Illumiscreen NIPS is the latest technology in prenatal genetic screening. It’s non-invasive, accurate and fast, and available from as early as 10 weeks into a pregnancy. Medical societies endorse NIPS for all pregnancies regardless of maternal age or baseline risk. The following information is intended for NZ healthcare professionals and provides information about the screen, patient management and how to refer your patients for Illumiscreen.
Please be advised that the Illumiscreen instrumentation will be undergoing essential scheduled maintenance from 30th May – 7th June inclusive. This will impact reporting times as no samples can be processed during this period. All samples received will be stored and tested as soon as possible once the maintenance has been completed.
